Updates from Trinity Park Conservancy
December Volunteer Round-Up

Good afternoon volunteers,

As 2019 comes to a close and you start to make your New Year’s Resolutions for 2020, we hope you consider including volunteerism on your list. Last month, we celebrated our collective accomplishments in cleaning and greening the River, but did you know that when you volunteer, your mental and physical health also benefit?

HelpGuide.org highlights four ways volunteering can make you feel happier and healthier:

1. Volunteering connects you to others

2. Volunteering is good for your mind and body

3. Volunteering can advance your career

4. Volunteering brings fun and fulfillment to your life

We hope you continue to share your time and talent with the Conservancy and our partner organizations. It is also our hope that you feel more connected to nature and to each other in doing so.

Wishing you a wonderful holiday season and health and happiness in 2020! Looking forward to another great year of caring for the Trinity River together.

Sincerely,

Kathyrn Trainor
